Where to chop?

A dear friend gave us this purple heart a while back and I’m not proud to say that she almost didn’t make it under my care.

Now that we’ve moved places, I think I found a corner that she likes. She seems to be doing well. I’ve read we should chop and prop back into the soil at a certain length. Here are the points that I wanted to chop. What do you guys think? I eventually want to get to the point where she’s lush and full, so I’m not really looking for length. But I also don’t want to upset her right now lol
